Jennifer sits in front of her computer and eagerly waits to read her e-mails from over the weekend. She is a member of the dating website Basecandy.com and discovers that she has over 192 new e-mails. Like many singles in her 30s, Jennifer yearns for the time when she can take a man home to meet her parents. Her mother has been pestering her to find a suitable man to get married with and starting family. Jennifer works long hours and does not have time for the conventional way. Instead, she uses online dating as a means to meet other singles.
She is not alone, her two friends Jason and Maria have found love online and they convinced her to start dating that way.
