As it turns out, London Fashion Week is not only encouraging clothing designers to put together shows and presentations, but luxury British favourite accessories brand Smythson is also included in the lineup. The leather goods label is scheduled to host an event on Sunday September 15, sandwiched between Preen, Mulberry and Margaret Howell. Although we're not entirely sure what to expect, we do know that the showcase will feature their new Panama Tote bag, which will be available in red and this lovely Wedgewood blue shade.
Smythson is still rocking it out and I couldn't be happier. Last year they celebrated their 125th anniversary, expanded their Sloane Street store in Chelsea to 8,000 square feet, and opened up shop in Hong Kong. Hopefully with the push of former creative director Samantha Cameron and newly appointed design director Rory O'Hanlon, Smythson will have some modern surprises for us by September!
